‘Autumn’ arrived safely yesterday and I think it's beautiful. It will look fab in my cottage, just got to find the right spot for it. I do like the frame that it's in and will get a piece of glass cut to protect it...They all look beautiful pictures.

Thread Painting Guide

It's a lovely Autumnal Saturday morning here in New Zealand, and your guides have arrived, thank you very much. I shall thoroughly enjoy perusing them this morning, and who knows!! perhaps a chance to dabble this afternoon. I have always been a quilter but the possibility of the extra texture and dimension that the wonderful threads can offer is very exciting. I love the fabulous English scenes that you depict, and so admire your talent.

Asked you for some advice a couple of days ago which I thank you for. Had a go at thread painting for the first time and boy did I enjoy myself. I always believed I could not put colours together to paint never mind the thread with it. I now have a new hobby so thank you.
